Iceland – Goðafoss: Waterfall of the gods on Flickr.

Via Flickr:
Goðafoss, a waterfall located in the Mývatn region of Northern Iceland has a name that means Waterfall of the gods. The name originated from the viking, Þorgeir, who converted to Christianity and threw the statues of his Norse gods into the river.
